  Didn't know what to expect as we'd never been before & pulled in on impulse feeling hungry. The food was excellent & the staff genuinely helpful & welcoming. A definite recommendation.

  This pub has had a lot of money spent on it by the new owners and is a totally different experience to the old Churchill. You must try it the owners are so willing to please nothing is too much trouble. Well done

  As we regularly commute to Salisbury we drive through this village and decided to stop in this nice looking pub along the way. Whilst first appearances were positive and the starter we ordered didn't seem bad the main course more than ruined the impression. All in all a very disappointing visit and the staff didn't help either as nothing was offered and full price was charged.
